Although we may be considered in-network with your insurance carrier, this is not a guarantee of coverage or payment for our services. If we are not in-network providers for your insurance, we can provide you with necessary documentation for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
All insurance claims are filed following treatment and are subject to review by your insurance carrier. We will submit a claim with your insurance carrier up to 2 times per appointment and any further insurance appeal is solely your responsibility unless a secondary source of payment is established. This includes, but is not limited to: insurance denial of coverage, policy deductibles, policy maximums, annual or lifetime benefits being exceeded, and not receiving payment within a reasonable amount of time even if you are in an appeals process with your insurance carrier.
We reserve the right to charge a fee for any appointment that is not kept. This amount will be charged for not canceling 24 hours in advance of your appointment.
How do I know if my insurance will cover therapy?
Give us a call! We would be happy to verify your benefits for you. You can also call the customer service number on your insurance card and ask what your therapy benefits are for speech therapy. Having therapy benefits does not necessarily mean a particular diagnosis will be covered. We will also call your insurance company to check your benefits and inform you before your first appointment.
How Long Will My Child Need Therapy?
Many parents want to know how long their child will need therapy. The length of therapy is different for every child and depends on many factors. We will review your child's progress frequently and adjust goals as needed. Each year we will reevaluate your child's progress.
